Ask of God, Ask in Faith

Dear Elder Caden Snell,

I only had typed your email address and tears welled up in my eyes. You have the Faith to move mountains and I am so grateful for you and your example! I can't imagine having just been trained and then turning around and training someone but that is who you are! Moving forward with Faith.

I don't know why my tears started flowing except for the fact that I feel my saviors love anytime I think of you. Kade Kasperian's farewell was today and his Mom said she is going to need help from me. Ha Ha, I'm not sure I am much help but I do know that she will miss him something terrible but will be blessed beyond measure!

Parker Hadley received the Melchizedek Priesthood today. We were invited to sit in. It was really special. At the end, Logan stopped everyone from leaving and he had something to say. He basically bore his testimony and said what an amazing example Parker was to him. It was very unexpected but I guess it's in keeping with the true Hadley fashion. They all have something to say ;)

Dad and I have a meeting we are holding tonight to start talking about Trek. We were hoping it would be a meeting with all the Head Committee members but none have been called yet. They are still working on calling the Mas and Pas. So, they still haven't been called. But that's ok cuz I'm sure the Lord has a better plan than us. So we are meeting with the assistant Trail Bosses and the Stake YM/YW presidencies. I'm sure it will all go well.

So, now I am back from the training meeting. It went really well. We are really excited about it all. I can already tell that the people who were called were definitely called by The Lord. One couple told us this last summer they were in Nauvoo and just for some reason ended up in Amish country so they decided they would pack up their little car with 2 pioneer wagon wheels. He is excited to build a Wagon. They didn't know why but they were so excited to tell us their excursion and the spirit bore witness to me that The Lord knows each of them and what they can do for our Trek!

Anyway, Something that Elaina shared with me last week, that I actually saw on facebook that was circulating, was a talk given that spoke about the equation of our life with Christ. That we look at it as Me + More = Christ. We think that if we can do better or do more then we will be enough. But in reality, the equation is Me + Christ = More. I believe this totally 100%. I just have to keep reminding myself. So hopefully you have that down cuz I am still learning. But I can testify that it is totally true!!!! 

I just really hope you are doing good!!! You always write so positively and I love seeing that all is going rather well for you but I always hope that you truly are doing good. If there is anything that I could do for you???? 

Also, is there anything you can think of that you need or are thinking would be helpful or just want for Christmas? I really wish I was an amazing person that could think of something extraordinary to send you but I'm just not that creative. So let me know if there is something you have been thinking of. I can't believe it is coming up soon. Do you have plans yet for Thanksgiving Dinner? 

I am convinced that the hardest thing to do in life is to not listen to Satan who wants you to feel like your not good enough or that you won't ever make it. So I work hard everyday to listen to the Spirit who fills me with Love and hope and Joy! I pray you can focus on Joy and share that with others as you always did here at home. You are so good at that. 

I love you buddy! I'm excited for the new theme for the Youth this year. Amy Patterson made cool thoughts to go with it. I'm attaching them to your email.

ELDER SNELL: Hi, Mommy! :)

I don't even remember what I said in my last email, but I guess it was
good haha you and Zac talked about it in your emails. Thanks for your
love and support! Your emails always mean a lot to me :) You don't
need to cry, though ;) I will be back soon enough. Also, we will get
to talk in a month and a half :)

I'm a little confused about the part with Parker hahaha was he
ordained a Priest??? The Hadley's are funny people :)

I'm glad your meeting went well. I have definitely had my testimony
strengthened while being out here about people being called to
specific assignments for specific reasons.

We just got to the beach, so I gotta go now. I can respond later if you want :)

I know you will be home before I know it and that is awesome. I can't wait to Skype.

How was the Beach????

ELDER SNELL: Oh yeah! I forgot about that :) I would honestly love anything you send me :) new ties would be awesome! New garments aren't necessary, but they would be appreciated :)

The beach was so much fun! We played with a frisbee and took tons of pictures :)

Yeah! We have 3 people signed up to feed the missionaries for Thanksgiving :) all four of us are going to the 2:00 dinner, 2 of us are going to the 5:00 dinner, and all four of us are going to the 7:30 dinner :)
