NOVEMBER 12 2017 Hello From Kaysville Utah!  Whats up Buddy! HOW ARE YOU GLASSES??? I am dying for a picture. I think you got THE TOP OF THE LINE!!! Ha Ha. How do they look? Have you gotten used to them yet? Tell us all about them. You have the digital graduation? What did the optometrist say about your eyes?  I know, I know, lots of questions but I want to know all of it and whats going on. How your eyes are adjusting and if they are helping you.  My lip is healing VERY well. I am really surprised. It's still kinda painful but I only had to take percocet for the very first day. i REALLY hate how it makes me feel and it made me almost throw up, so when I woke up the next morning and I wasn't in excruciating pain I tried the ibuprofen and tylenol gig and it worked just fine. I will go in for a follow up tomorrow morning and find out how things are going. I'll ask him TONS of questions to make sure all is going well. But he was really confident it is all taken...

NOVEMBER 7, 2017 Hey buddy! I know you can't write back but I just wanted to give you an update on how I am doing. I am actually doing pretty good. Here is a pic of what it looks like today. Still some swelling but it will keep going down. I am trying to stay low and keep ice on it. I haven't had to take any percocet toady. Just Ibuprofen and Tylenol. It seems to be working ok. The ice helps a lot.  So just as a recap so you know for sure, the Doc said he was so excited that I came to see him so quickly and that there is no chance that the cancer spread!!! I definitley was inspired and felt pushed to get in quickly and not to mess around thinking it would heal on its own. I really had some help on that. For that I am grateful. So he says there is no chance it would be in any lymph nodes or anything like that. He got all of it and now I just have to be a good girl and let it heal nicely. It's so hard not to smile or laugh or even not talk..... It's me we are talkin...

NOVEMBER 6 2017 Well. There you have it. One bowl cut and he got it all. Then he clipped it in a triangle, pulled it together and stitched it up. It goes from the top to inside my mouth. It’s swollen because of the lidocaine. It will go down but should expect swelling and bruising. The worst part is that I cant smile or laugh for a week or so while it heals. He also said not to talk much and rest a lot so it will heal better. Stitches will take about 2 weeks to dissolve outside and a month or so inside.  But the md said he got it all and I don’t neEd to worry about metastasis because I came in so quickly and didn’t wait. Yay!!! He was really happy about that since this cancer grows so fast.  Thank you so much for your fasting and prayers!!! We have the BEST outcome possible. Just hope it heals well.  Love you sooo much Buddy!!!!❤️ We will be twinners in scars. 😂😂😂

NOVEMBER 5 2017 Hey Buddy!!!!  What a crazy week. As you know and are probably sick of hearing about it, we went down to St George for the finals and BOA. It all went really well overall. For Friday night Davis took 3rd, Clovis 2nd and AF 1st. But for STate Davis took 2nd. For BOA we didn't place in the prelims but made it to the finals. We were actually in the bottom 5, Henricks thought probably 7th. He gave the kids the judges feedback and said to leave it all out on the table. They did AMAZING and the whole stands gave them a standing ovation. (They were the ONLY band to get that from EVERYONE). They ended up taking 4th place. We were waiting for their names to be called down at 7 and it was awesome as they kept climbing higher. Our bus driver said that DAVIS won according to the crowd (they should totally have the audience vote and award a favorite. Maybe someday we would win that one. Ha Ha). Anyway, You know I'm sure AF swept the competition with all the caption...

OCTOBER 29 2017 OH MY GOODNESS ELDER SNELL!!! You will never believe it!!!! So Kennedy didn't end up coming to church with us that last few weeks. She ended up having a family dinner and then she got really sick. So I thought, maybe she is just decided she didn't want to come with us. But yesterday I got a thought to text her and see if she wanted to come to church with us. And she text me back and said YES!!! It was a great day for her to come. I was so excited. So she said she would come at 1230 on Sunday. Dad ended up working but Lexie and I were home. It was kinda funny, you should give Lexie a hard time cuz she then said, "Oh darn, then we won't have good food". :( She didn't even realize what she had said in regards to my cooking. Ya, so I gave her a hard time. Anyways, it was about 1230 and Lexie and I were ready for church and waiting for Kennedy. I wasn't sure if she would cancel again. But she didn't. She showed up. OCTOBER 22 2017 Hi my buddy!!!! I'm sorry you have been so busy you have't had time to write. I guess that's what happens when you are a zone leader? Or is it because you have a companion that wants to do other things on your pday? Or maybe you want to do other things? I guess I can see where writing a letter for everyone to read is probably hard to think of what to say. I just have to tell you how many people your letters have touched though. You can feel your testimony emanating out of your letters just by sharing your stories. So thank you for all you have done in the past 15 months. I'm sure you are exhausted. But don't under estimate the power of a simple letter and your testimony.  My heart has been a little heavy for you the last month. I don't know why, but I fear you have a lot weighing on you. OCTOBER 15 2017 HEY!!! Crazy week with BYU competition and Davis Cup on Sat. They did good at both and took 2nd place at both. At Davis Cup I thought maybe the judges would have compassion on Mr Hendricks and his retiring year and give them the Win for the Cup, but alas, NO. They did take percussion at Davis Cup. I was proud of my Props Peeps, they actually got them on to the Davis field without my help, ha ha. I really was worried if they would figure it out themselves.  Dad is exhausted. I helped him but he did A TON!!! We put out cones the night before and then Dad had to go back early to finish cuz there were several cars still in the lots. He worked ALL day and then we had to go pick all of them up again at the end. I'm sure he told you all about it. I helped at the Warm Up lot and listened to my book on audio.
