Day of Learning

OCTOBER 2, 2016

Hey Buddy!
Well, here it is, the night before my big JCAHO day. I can't believe we are already here. There is so much more that we need to keep learning and I'm going to take this time to LEARN. Kinda crazy how I have come to understand that this whole process is exactly what I prayed for. I prayed to become a better Director of Nursing and well, this is how I am getting training. I'm looking at it as a major learning opportunity and a growing opportunity. During conference the holy ghost confirmed many times that this trial has been for my good and for the betterment of the company. It really is true! If we didn't go through these hard trials then we wouldn't have changed software systems and I wouldn't have gotten Shauna, my assistant director of nursing. I am so grateful for all that I have learned.

I know that the Lord and the angels will be with me tomorrow along with another member of the God head, The Holy Ghost. How blessed am I to have that amazing POWER with me. I had Dad give me a blessing last week and it helped tons because I was able to find things that we needed to fix before JCAHO found them. So I am so grateful for that.

Anyway, enough about my learning opportunity for tomorrow, We had a great week. The band competition went good. They looked really good. I wish we could send you the link to the performance. KSL streamed it live, the whole day competition. So we watched it tonight. Davis took Percussion again and blew us away when they took Visual!!! Yay! Dad's back walls looked awesome too. We had 6 of us who had to push them out, but holy cow, talk about The Lord being in the details of our lives...... We assembled them at Davis to put up for the color guard to practice at 12:pm Saturday. One of the guard moms came and helped us. Then we said, ok, we will have to take them all down and reassemble them again at the competition. She was like, no way. That would be tons of work, so she said they had a huge toy hauler and could use that. What a blessing, they came and picked them up. We all unloaded the at the competition and it worked great!!!! The Lord sent her to us and then they said they could just keep them in their trailer and bring them to every competition. Wow! The Lord definitely knows what we need and he is there to bless us.

I love you buddy. Hopefully your week was a good one and that you are doing ok. I pray for you all the time and I know that things are probably not always easy, because life isn't easy but I know you are very blessed and you are an amazing Young Man. Thank you for Serving and blessing our lives. I'm so proud to be your mom.    Oh hey, I got a face book message from Sister Lori Collier. She said she is a member of the Plainview ward and wanted to tell us how much they appreciate you being there. They love walking into church and seeing your huge smile! She said, thank you for sharing you with them.

See, you are making a difference!

Love to you all day and all night!!!

Love, Mommy!

ELDER SNELL: Hi, Mom :)

I am definitely praying for you today! I hope everything goes well
with your audit! You are unbelievably strong spiritually, so I know
that you are relying on our Heavenly Father a ton :) Thanks for your
amazing example!

I'm glad to hear that all is going well with the busy band stuff going
on :) Tell my friends Hi for me next time you see them :)

Sorry for the short nature of this email. I would generally try to
write a longer one, but seem to have run out of things to talk about
hahahaha :) sorry. So, Sister Collier messaged you? That's cool :) She
and her family had Elder Jensen and I over for dinner a while ago, but
I haven't really been able to talk with then much since then. Thanks
for telling me that, though. I sometimes feel like I'm not really
making much of a difference here haha :) I really love it here,
though! I love getting my Father in Heaven by serving Him and those
here in the Plainview Ward :)

I love you Mom!

Love,
Elder Snell :)
