Whazzzzz UP!!!

How's my favorite missionary???? ARe you surviving the HEAT??? It's been so hot here. But i;m sure it's way hotter there with the humidity. Grandma and Grandpa Snell said Yuma got to 118. ugh.....

Hopefully it cools off the 26-29 for Trek but not too much Cuz we don't want to freeze at night either. Speaking of Trek, we had our last and final Training for all the Ma's and Pa's and committees. YaY! it was amazing. The spirit was so strong! We bore testimony of the importance of what we are doing and we talked about the logistics and what everyone needs to finish up doing.

At the end President Hogge spoke to everyone and then we sang "Come Come Ye Saints". I could feel the spirit so super strong. Then we all knelt on the floor of the chapel and PResident Hogge offered a Family Prayer. Wow!!! It was electric. Just like when we knelt on the stage for Savior of The World. He blessed all of us. The things he said I wish I could have recorded but The Lord has miracles in store for us.

I'm so grateful for the guidance of My Heavenly Father in putting this all together. He led me yesterday to type up a lot of things for the Leaders to have and to study. It was crazy how he kept prompting me to find things and to type them up. It was a long day, but I was grateful to dedicate time to making sure this Trek goes the best it can. We have so many amazing committee members and Dad is awesome too.

Dad was so funny tonight. The Stake Presidency was on the stand with us and Dad got up to conduct the meeting and totally started talking before Lynette finished her prelude. He then apologized for not being good at conducting and that he basically won't have to worry about being good at it in his lifetime. President Hogge then said, Be careful Trail Boss. We all laughed. I know Dad thinks he would never be called to a bishopric or anything of the sort, but Dad is pretty amazing and he is the kindest person I know. He is always serving others. I wouldn't ever be surprised if he was called to serve like that someday.

I miss you tons buddy. I can't believe your YEAR mark is coming up....... Has it really been a year???? We have been so blessed to have you out serving a mission. Heavenly Father is truly amazing and so generous with his blessings.

We pray for you continually and know that The Lord is watching over you. I'm so grateful you have such a wonderful Mission President who is inspired. You will make a difference in that ward. You may not see a huge change while you are there but remember you are planting the seeds. By your example they will be able to learn and become who they are supposed to become. They will figure it out.

LOVE YOU BUDDY!!!

Hope you have a fabulous week.

Love Always, Mom

ELDER SNELL: Hi, Mommy! :)
I am doing extremely well! The heat here isn't all that bad this week :) I rained a ton the other day, so the humidity is way up there, but the heat hasn't hit super bad yet. It will, though... haha
I am so excited to hear all about how trek goes in a few weeks! I am still super jealous that I don't get to go with you. You have such a special connection with the Spirit, so I have no doubt that trek is going to go exactly how the Lord needs it to go :) You are the best!! Love you!
I am honestly scared at how fast this year has flown by... I hope and pray that I have been able to do what Heavenly Father needed me to do. My mission is nearly half way over and I feel like there is so much more I could've done.... I am sure everyone feels that way, though hahaha. President Reynolds asked me to be a Zone Leader, so I hope I am actually capable of doing that haha. I guess we will just have to see ;) I will be relying on the Lord a TON!!!!
Thank you for always giving me words of love, support, and encouragement! I love you so much! Thanks for the prayers :) They are much appreciated!
Let me know if I can do anything for you :)
Love ya!
Elder Snell
