Fear Not-Only Believe

OCTOBER 8 2017

Hello Elder Snell!!!

I LOVE YOU!!!!

Oh my goodness. CONFERENCE....Where do I start. You asked what were our thoughts or how did it change us??? Well, I can't believe how many talks were JUST for me!!! So many that spoke to my heart to FEAR NOT and BELIEVE!!!

Even through all of my trials and how much I have witnessed in how good the Lord is and how he rescues us no matter what, I STILL EXPERIENCE FEAR. Crazy huh. So many of the General Authorities spoke directly to me.

I especially loved Elder Hollands talk on Saturday Morning. WOW, how can one person be so full of the spirit. He is so amazing. He is always right on the money with what everyone needs to hear. It was so funny in sunday school today Brother McConckie (the younger) said there is a joke out there.... The monster under the Devil's bed is Elder Holland. Ha Ha. That's funny. He scares him. :)

I wish EVERYONE in the world that is so critical of the LDS members could have heard this talk. So many people out there that say we judge others are actually very guilty of judges us. but the whole reason we NEED the Savior is because we are NOT PERFECT!!! We need to give ourselves and others a break.

It's so hard to have so many things happening in the world with natural disasters and evil people killing 59 and injuring 500 people in Las Vegas etc. Some people are living in so much fear with all of this going on. Most of the conference talks spoke peace. Even when things are raging around us. I need to remember this and I keep asking for help from the angels and My Savior to send the comforter. I think of the amazing things you are doing on your mission and the hard times you have to go through, but how your testimony has grown. I wouldn't trade a thing. I would pay for your mission 1000 times over to know you are out there making a difference in others lives as well as what you are learning. You could never learn or grow how you are in any other setting. How amazing that our Father in Heaven knew this and set it up for his noble YM and YW at such a critical time to train for life!!!

This week was Homecoming. The band performed their shortened field show for the football game. Dad and I got to be part of the field show!!! Ha Ha. We stood in the back and helped turn the BIG pages. Oh Man, it's super hard to hear anything. I can't believe how the guard and band members can keep going when they are in the back and how they can even be close to being on time. We had to turn the pages at certain moments and we couldn't even hear to make sure we did it on the correct moments. The props peeps still didn't get it right.... :( Hopefully by BOA they will have it. Ha Ha. But I can now say I was in a field show.

Lexie went on her first "real"date for homecoming. She was sooooooo excited and she looked soooo beautiful. I'll attach some pics. I can't believe she is old enough. CRAZY!! She had so much fun though. You'll have to ask her to tell you all about it.

Is there anything you can think of that you need us to send you? I couldn't remember if you were still in an area that we shouldn't send anything to your apartment. Let me know what I can do for you!!!

Love you sooooo much buddy. Thank you for strengthening my testimony through your experiences.

Sorry my emails are long. Zac just looked at this and said he forgot how long my emails were..... sorry

Love, Mommy
