Whaz Up Buddy????

How was your Thanksgiving??? I thought for sure one of the families you were with would send us a pic. Tell me all about it.

Our thanksgiving was a little hard. It was just Lexie and I going to grandma Woods with Tawnie's family. The hard part was that Dad worked until 4pm. Then when he came home he wasn't satisfied with the left over plate I made him......he had to go and cook himself a whole meal. Silly guy. But oh well. Lexie and I enjoyed ourselves. Well, Lexie read a book and I got to chit chat with my Mom and Tawnie. 

Then we came home and chilled. Oh ya, we picked up Elaina and had her help us feed the horses. That was fun. She loves the horses and it was great to see her on Thanksgiving. 

The next morning all the Cousins, including Elaina, went to the temple. See attached photo. 

How cute, right. They are all amazing. On black friday they all went to the temple at 7am. Impressive. I however slept in and didn't go to the temple until Saturday Morning. My picture is included.

But of course, I was alone so no one to take the pic. It was an amazing experience at the temple where The Lord answered my Prayers and gave me names for some more of our committee members. I am always impressed by how the lord will tell us what his will is. I just have to be willing to do and listen. 

I'm anxious to hear about your week. 

This week I have a work Christmas Party. We are having a special dinner and Kris's sister who is a well known Opera singer is coming to perform. Should be good. Her sister is very good and entertaining. I've seen her perform with the Utah Symphony.

Lexie is still doing Winterguard and loving it. It looks like she will probably go to the drum major clinics and try out so she can have the experience but she really would like to be a section leader next year and then try out for Drum Major the next year. Do you think that is a good idea or would you encourage her to really WANT to be drum major for when they go to Macy's Parade and then possibly doing it for 2 years. She is so torn. She doesn't even know that she would make it anyway so it's probably just a good idea to try out with no expectations.

Looking over at Dad, he is asleep trying to send you a letter. So i think in a few minutes I will just send you what he has written and then put his laptop away. He already took his meds so really not sure what it's going to say. Ha Ha.

love you buddy!!!!! I hope your Holiday was amazing and that you have had an the opportunity to share the gospel with lots of people. 

You are amazing and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I get to share your letters with the world. I pray that maybe someone might decide to read it that might need something you have shared.

Oh ya, did you get a little package before Thanksgiving???? And did you like them???? I couldn't totally remember if you liked Lollis. But I do, so if you didn't like them you can send them to me ;)

My Thanksgiving was awesome and super fun! :) yeah, no one offered to send a picture to our Moms haha oh well. I guess I could've asked them to do it, but I guess it's too late for that one haha

Your Thanksgiving sounds like a party ;) too bad Dad was a bit of a stinker haha Lexie just read a book at Thanksgiving dinner? That sounds kind of boring ;)

That looks like so much fun! I am jealous of all of your temple excursions. You didn't want to take a selfie with the temple??? You should do that next time ;) haha you are such an amazing example to me and all of us kids :) I love you, Mom!

Drum Major is definitely an amazing experience! However, so is being the section leader. My advice for Lexie is to do section leader her Junior year and try out for Drum Major for her senior year. Going to the clinics is not a bad idea at all, but I know that she would be sad if she didn't get a trumpet leadership opportunity. However, the trumpet section leader is almost always a senior, so if she isn't a section leader this next year and made Drum Major her Senior year, she wouldn't be able to be trumpet section leader for marching band. You can tell Lexie this if you want, but I know she would enjoy being a section leader WAY more than being a Drum Major. Tell her to pray about it :) 

Hahahahahaha I was laughing so hard when I read the end of Dad's email! Hahaha It was hilarious! 

Thank you so much for the Lollies! I love those :) It made me super happy to come home from a long day and have a package on the doorstep :) you are the best!
