Letter from Mikee

OCTOBER 9 2017

Hey Elder Snell's mother/ Mrs. Snell/ Wendi! This is Mikee. If Elder Snell hasn't told you about some of the church members here in Queens NY, he must be really boring 😁 jk. He is really fun to play sports with and pretty much everthing. But we try to behave during Sacrament Meeting because it's always Elder Snell that gives us this scary, scolding look. Nevertheless, he inspires us to behave haha. And most especially, to always put God first no matter what the circumstances may bring to my Sister and I. He brings such great energy when it comes to learning more about Jesus Christ, His plans and works. We love him so much!  And we are superb gonna miss him when he goes hoooome. We know he has a great family because of his awesome personality and amazing faith! And when he comes home, I hope he tells you about how yummy Filipino food is 😁

MY RESPONSE:
Hi Mikee!!!!! I'm so sorry I didnt get to write you back on Monday, I didn't get your email until late that day. YOU ARE SUBERB AWESOME YOUR SELF! Elder Snell even says so. He has told us how Amazing you and your sister are!!! I have loved reading all about your journey and how the gospel has blessed your life. I am laughing so hard about the scary, scolding look because he probably learned it from me, LOL. I'm sure I have given him that look many times in church Ha Ha. Good to hear he is developing great traits. :)

I'm so grateful that he is sharing his testimony of Our Savior Jesus Christ with you and witnessing that if you put God first no matter what, you will be blessed!!! I too have witnessed this in my life especially at work. There are so many things I can't control and so many patient's lives at stake that I always pray that Heavenly Father will protect me and take care of the patient's we serve. It's only through him I can receive peace.

Thank you soooooo much for sending me an email. It made my day!!!!! Let me know if there is anything I can do for you and your sister. I pray for you often and have put your names on the Bountiful Temple Prayer roll along with your brother's name. I KNOW Elder Snell LOVES him too. I can put your mom's name on the roll if you'd like too. You are an amazing example to me and show so much courage.

I'm sure Elder Snell LOVES the yummy Filipino food, if it's the roasted pig, yes, he said he loved it.

TTFN- Wendi
