Hello My Amazing Elder!

HOW ARE YOU??? Hope all is going well for you. You are always so positive, it makes being a Missionary Mom so Easy!!! But it's ok if you let me know if all is well or not. Ha ha. How's your shoulder and stuff? Are the exercises helping??? You can answer how it is going and then I won't bug ya again :)

I love you so much! This week has been spring break and Lexie has been trying to find adventures each day. She has been hanging out with friends. I took off Wednesday early so I could go with Dad and Lexie to the movies. We went and saw beauty and the beast (the new one). It was good. Dad slept most of it, haha. We were at the Lazy Boy theater and I had to keep poking him to stop snoring because the whole theater could hear him. 

It was Megan's bday on Tuesday, we took her out to eat at Olive Garden. 

It was Kris's bday on Tuesday too and our office all wore black because she turned 50. She, of course, was not in on the secret so she wore very bright colors. We gave her a gift and decorated her office, it was a party as you would say. Ha ha. I also went to a surprise party for her last Friday her daughter put together. She was so thankful for all of it. 

I donated blood on Saturday for a scouts eagle project. He put together a blood drive like you did. That was a huge needle they used. But I filled up the bag really quick. Lexie went to the winterline competition finals. It was a Weber High School. Cole offered her a ride, so ya, I guess there was a lot of debate from her friends that they called it a date. But I didn't feel like it was a date since they went to a competition and there were tons of people there they sat with lots of friends. It was way nice of him to give her a ride though. He's a nice guy though.

Hannah Bargeron just gave her mission farewell talk today. I went to her sacrament meeting with Lynette and Amy. She is going to the DC south Mission. Ha ha. She is very excited about it. She actually grew up there in that mission before she moved here. 

And, yep, you guessed it. We did a Ma and Pa training tonight. They always go really well because the Lord is in charge. We did devotionals on Kindness and Family History. We got out our Trek video from 2008 when Dad and I went to DLL. We showed parts from it so they would get the idea of what it will look like. The comment we heard was, there is no shade..... yup. No Shade, just sagebrush, and hills. I'm excited that it is coming closer. I feel like things are coming together well. Just looking at those hills and stuff, I get a little worried but I have been walking about 2 miles 4-5 times a week. I have been good at eating healthy too. I am trying to only eat about 1400 calories a day so I will feel better. It's working, although today I have had a migraine. No Bueno.  

There are so many things I could be doing better in my life but I am trying to take one thing at a time and with my Savior, he will help me make weak things become strong, right?? :)

I'm excited to hear from you. I love reading your emails! Next week is Easter. Do you have any special plans? We are singing with the choir and the YW are doing a medley as well. It's not the same without you but we manage. 

I'm so grateful for you and your dedication. You are touching lives and changing your own. So many things you are learning that you couldn't get anywhere else. 

I pray for your body to heal and that the exercises are working.

HAPPY EASTER! So grateful for our Savior.

ELDER SNELL: Hi, Mom! :)

I am doing very well! :) I am super nervous for transfers.... haha
they are coming up next week, and I think that I am going to get
transferred... I am excited for a new adventure, but I will definitely
miss the people here in Plainview. My shoulder is doing pretty alright
:) can't complain too much, really. The exercises seem to be helping a
little bit. I haven't noticed a huge difference yet. I am faithfully
doing them every morning, though! Hahaha :) Patrice emailed me saying
she sent me a package with some various vitamins, herby things, and
minerals that should help hahahaha :) I believe she said there is some
Black Strap Molasses that she included in there. She is so funny! I
love her, though! :) She sent Elaina a HUGE email suggesting to her
what she should tell me to do to help with my shoulder. She is
awesome!

I hope Lexie had a great spring break with all her adventures she went
on! At least she tried to get out of the house as much as possible!
Zac told me that last year's spring break was very boring. I had my
wisdom teeth removed, so we stayed at home for most of it hahaha :)
Crazy to think that was a year ago!

Dad told me that he couldn't stay awake at the movie! Hahaha typical
;) That is super funny!

Oooh! So you got to go to a few parties! :) whoot! That is super funny
that you all wore black to work for Kris. I am sure that she got a
kick out of it :)

You donated blood?!? That's always a party! See? You did go to a bunch
of parties! I think it is super fun to let people (trained people, of
course) steal your blood from you and store it in little plastic
baggies! I just wish they would let you take some with you as a party
favor ;)

What's up with Lexie and Cole????? Have they held hands yet? Have they
kissed? I am positive they have at least hugged! ;) If you tell me, I
promise to only tease her a little bit about it ;) hahaha I am just
kidding. However, I do really want to know what's goin on there haha
:)

Hannah Bargeron is going on a mission???? I didn't even know that!
That is super cool that she is going to Zac's mission! OOH! Guess
what?!? I saw Lydia Adams at transfers when she first got here! Hahaha
She said my family was super funny about it ;) She also said to tell
you hi! I forgot about it until just barely. I haven't seen her since
transfers, though.

It sounds like your trek stuff is coming along very nicely! They
definitely called the right people to head the whole thing! I am sure
that all the Ma's and Pa's are super grateful for you both! Hey, you
still want me to send you something I have experienced dealing with
kindness, right? Is that for the actual trek in the Summer?

I don't have any special plans yet for Easter. I guess we will just
have to wait and see ;) that is awesome that you are still doing ward
choir! Are there many more people than there were while I was still
there? I am sure you are still amazing without me, if not even better!

MOM: I'm sure you are super nervous. Your heart has been intertwined with your area. The amazing thing about that is that the Lord gives us the capacity to enlarge our hearts to keep those relationships we have had and build upon them with others as well. They all love you and i'm sure will want to keep in contact.

Patrice is Hilarious!!! You'll have to tell me what she sends you. I can send you any doTerra items you want as well. Haha. I am a DoTerra rep..... :) So any of those super cool concoctions you want, let me know.

As far as Lexie and Cole, it's super funny because they are still just in the talking phase. I don't think they have even touched pinkies. Hee Hee. But that is totally ok with me. I just think it's cute to see Lexie get major butterflies. :)

I had NO IDEA Lydia Adams when to your mission. How did I miss that???? That is awesome.

I'd love for you to still give any thing you have experienced with Kindness. I will be sharing things on Trek as well as last night. So yes. Thank you. AND any random acts of kindness I'd love to hear about.
